I bought this high-yield toner for the price and that it's the Brother brand. I have tried other "compatible" brands, but they sometimes do not work.
It is cheaper than Costco!

What can I say? They are toner cartridges? I do find that if I shake the cartridge a little when the printer says it is low, that I get another month out of it.
I appreciate the other reviews telling about turning the gear wheel on the side! That is very helpful! Often a cartridge still has life in it when the printer is finished with its count. Especially with the color lasers used as the primary printer with mostly black pages printing.

You can't go wrong when you purchase the manufacturers brand of toner. Go ahead and check prices locally and you'll be all ove the 'Buy' button. These toner packs change simply in a few seconds and you're off and running again. They are well protected for shipping and so easy to unpack and change ~ it's almost effortless!!

Yes, these Brother toners do only count the number of pages printed to determine the amount of toner left. When one of the CMY color runs out, they all run out at the same time. Even though the printer may say its completely out of toner, that might not be the case always. To reset the toner (if you know there's ample amount of toner still left), unscrew the two screws on the side, pop off the side cover, and turn the gray gear wheal counterclockwise 90 degrees.
